The Consultation Workshop on Climate Change studies in Kerala and Revamping of ICCS was conducted on 16 November 2017 (Thursday), from 10am to 1pm at Mascot Hotel, Thiruvananthapuram. The workshop was organized for identifying the thrust areas of climate change studies in the State, the programmes and projects to be taken up for adaptation/mitigation, and the measures to revamp ICCS. Dr. K Rajendran, Scientist, CSIR-4th Paradigm Institute, Bengaluru moderated the workshop. Dr. S C Joshy IFS, Chairman, Kerala State Biodiversity Board and Smt Padma Mahanty IFS Director, Department of Environment and Climate Change initiated the discussion. Around 50 experts representing 31 research institutes of the state were participated in the event.
